The Lanefolk Story
One of a kind, wearable art - handmade and refashioned using natural fabrics.

Dearest you,
Lanefolk is for those who want a different kind of fashion.
Clothes with a story, clothes that feel good, clothes that bring joy.
In a world of fast, mass-produced, poor-quality clothing, I make pieces enveloped with love. With beautiful details such as hand-stitching, embroidery, patchwork, hand-stamped wording, and little secret pocket messages — the smallest of touches that make you smile, so each piece feels like you are wrapped within the warm hug of a friend.
I’ve always been drawn to beautiful fabrics and discarded clothing, and have often thought about the tales they could tell of their time before. How sad it is to see landfills being filled with such useful, still-so-much-to-give cottons and linens.
Lanefolk grew from this love. A strong desire to create clothes that feel meaningful, where you know the story behind every piece, and the journey it has taken from fabric to finished garment.
This isn’t just about clothes. It’s about making choices that matter: supporting a family instead of an impersonal industry, choosing sustainability, weaving charity into the process, and sharing the journey so people can see their garment being made, piece by piece, with intention and joy.
I create one-off pieces in small batches, with quality fabrics and natural fibres. Every garment is designed to be lived in, loved, and treasured — a conscious alternative to the throwaway world of fast fashion.
If you’d like to take a closer look, you can discover more about our materials and fabric donations on [Give Cloth a New Life], or learn how our limited releases work on [How the Drops Work]. Each page is another step into the Lanefolk world: thoughtful, handcrafted, and made with heart.
With happiness and blessings,
Julia
